Finnish outfit GROOVY EYES are a real classy blues and R&B band. Their CD Tuberadio Broadcast (Ram-Bam RAM 00003) has twelve tracks, half of which are very accomplished instrumentals. Influences range from Bill Doggett and Duane Eddy to Meters and Enrico Morricone, whilst titles such as Soul Strut, Blue Honk, Lowdown Rumble, Spanish Turkey and Hawaiian Walk all turn out to be self-descriptive!
